Textiles

By textiles, we generally mean clothing in this context. There's no problem with buying clothes, unless you are overbuying, in which case you should go easy on the spending and look at what you don't need. 

The best option would be to donate them. If they have barely any rips, then someone else could use it. In the worst case, a donation company will do what you planned to do in the first place: throw it in the trash. 

Of course, recycling is also an option, but places that recycle textiles are hard to find and generally just trying to make a profit.

Other than that, as a 7th grader, I can't really say much about textile recycling. 

I hope I find out more by the time our video comes around (below), but I'm sharing this because there are still people who will throw away good clothes into the trash can.
