Compost

I'm not going to say much about composting. Definitely not because I'm lazy, but because it's out of reach for too many to count. After all, they produce smells, require time & patience, and just impossible for 1 in 8 americans who live in apartment buildings.

But, of course, some aspiring engineer decided to do it. This is not sponsored (but I really wish it was), but you should check out Lomi, a home composter for food scraps. It is loud and usually needs to run overnight, but it definitely helps when it comes to food going to landfills.
