Plastics

So it's plastic waste, isn't it. In the modern world, it's hard to find a place where there isn't plastic. The most remote islands on earth now have plastics washed up on their shores, carried from the ocean.

The problem with us humans is that we feel sad when we see the image that goes with this page.

But to avoid this, we need to find a major change in our attitude. On a large scale, we think that there are so many other people, and one thing that we do won't really change the world, right? The real issue is that everyone is using your amazing logic. If you want to make a change, you have to change first. Whether it's as simple as sharing this page to someone, or picking up trash at a beach near you, every small, or big action definitely works!

Please don't be a litterbug. Despite those people being annoying to both me and the earth, plastic is harmful to us also. Plastic takes over a thousand years to break down completely, but it doesn't take long at all for it to break into microplastics, which are extremely tiny pieces of plastic that usually reside in bodies of water. It's not hard at all for these microplastics to make it into your body. In fact, we eat as much microplastics that it amounts to the weight of a credit card every WEEK! This is just because we are throwing plastics into the environment.

Let me see if you ever throw plastics onto the road ever again. 😡
